  In 2016 I was on MediCal, and a friend who went here recommended this Dr, since he accepts MediCal. I had about 4 teeth pulled, which went fine. I was getting a full plate made for the uppers. I live in Wrightwood, so it was a bit of a drive, but the office looked nice, so I was OK with that.
  
  After a couple of visits for extractions and fitting, my new dentures arrived. The day I went to get them the Dr Hattar seemed to be in a big hurry to work on someone else. He did a quick liner and sent me home, to return for more fitting in a week or 2.
  
  The plate felt very big in my mouth and the quick liner job he did was a very poor job, allowing the plate to move around all over the place. I tried using a denture grip, but there was so much slop that the stuff could not fill all the voids.
  
  Also all the edges were left kind of raggidy and the side were so tall they dug into my gums until it was very uncomfortable. Actually the way he sent me home, only the molars were making contact with my bottom teeth.
  
  I finally had enough and broke out the dremel to do some DIY fitting, so I could at least use them until my next appt. A couple of days after leaving the office I got a call from the to set up an appt. I told the receptionist what I had done and she told me that since I did some adjusting, they would no longer work on them.
  
  OK, so I'm on my own now. So I ordered some reliner material and got a way better fit that the Dr did, but the darn things still fit weird and would come loose during a meal, even when glued in. It sucked! they would come loose when I was chewing a mouth full and the whole mess of food would get in between the roof of my mouth and the inside of the plate. A couple of times I had to pull the whole mess out, food and all the keep from gagging.
  
  Now less than a year later they have broken in a few places and are unusable.
  
  I think use some one size fits all dentures for the MediCal dregs like me, so I guess I got what I paid for. Also I'm not some hack that tried to do something over my head. I worked for a Orthodontic appliance corporation as a prototype machinist for 24 years, and have a real good idea of how to do this kind of stuff. In my working days I would have been embarrassed to hand in some work like the dentures he sent me home with.
  
  I only give 2 stars because the extractions went well and 1 star seems a bit harsh.
